Customer Eligibility and Terms of Offer
These terms and conditions govern participation in the AI-assisted report migration Proof of Concept (PoC) offer provided by Elixir Technology Pte Ltd (“Elixir”). By submitting a report template for consideration, customers acknowledge that participation is subject to these terms and conditions and Elixir’s assessment and approval.
1. One Report Template per Customer Organisation
The offer is limited to one report migration Proof of Concept (PoC) per legal customer entity, subject to Elixir’s review and approval. Multiple departments, projects or business units within the same legal entity are not eligible for separate free migrations under this offer.
2. Report Eligibility and Complexity
All report templates are subject to Elixir’s assessment and acceptance. The offer is intended for standard report templates. Reports involving extensive sub-reports, complex pivot tables, custom code, intricate stored procedures or other advanced requirements may require additional assessment and may be excluded from the offer or quoted separately.
3. Customer Responsibilities and Required Resources

Customers must provide the original report template, relevant dependencies, representative sample data in CSV or Excel format, and a reference output where available. Customers should also provide any non-standard or custom fonts used by the original report, where available and where they have the necessary rights or licences to share them.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the supplied materials are complete, accurate and sufficient to support the migration assessment and Proof of Concept (PoC).

4. Data Protection and Confidentiality

Customers must ensure they have the necessary rights and authorisations to share all submitted files and data with Elixir for the purposes of the migration PoC. Sensitive, confidential or personal data should be removed, anonymised or masked wherever possible.

Secure file transfer, access controls and data retention arrangements must be agreed upon before materials are submitted. All submitted materials will be handled in accordance with applicable contractual terms, confidentiality obligations and privacy requirements.

5. Proof of Concept Scope and Exclusions

The deliverable is a first-cut Repertoire report template intended for evaluation and demonstration purposes. The offer does not include full production implementation, database migration, extensive data source conversion, production deployment, or unlimited revisions and refinements.

Any additional work or requirements beyond the agreed PoC scope will be subject to separate assessment, quotation and mutual agreement.

6. Output Accuracy and Limitations

Elixir will make reasonable efforts to reproduce the original report’s intended structure, layout and functionality. However, an exact match in visual appearance, calculations, data presentation or behaviour is not guaranteed. Small differences may arise from font availability, platform-specific features, unsupported components, data source variations or other technical limitations.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and validating the migrated report against the original report and their business requirements before using it for operational or production purposes.

7. Offer Validity and Availability
The offer is available only during the promotional period specified by Elixir and is subject to availability and approval. Elixir reserves the right to modify, suspend or withdraw the offer, subject to applicable legal requirements and any commitments already agreed upon with participating customers.
8. Assessment and Turnaround Time

Elixir will assess each submission before confirming acceptance into the programme. The estimated turnaround time will be communicated after the required materials have been received and the scope has been agreed upon.

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on report complexity, resource availability and the completeness of the materials supplied. Any changes to the agreed scope may affect the delivery timeline.

9. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use

Customers retain ownership of their original report templates, data and other materials they provide, subject to any applicable third-party rights. Elixir retains ownership of its pre-existing software, tools, methodologies and proprietary technology used in the migration process.

Ownership and permitted use of the migrated report template and any newly developed components will be subject to the parties’ applicable agreements. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their use of the original and migrated reports complies with applicable third-party licence terms.

10. Liability and Governing Terms

The PoC is provided for evaluation purposes and does not constitute a guarantee of production readiness, uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular business purpose. Customers should independently validate the migrated report before relying on it for business-critical or production use.

The parties’ respective rights, obligations and liabilities will be governed by any applicable written agreement and relevant terms and conditions. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

11. Acceptance of the Offer Terms
By submitting a report template for consideration, the customer acknowledges that the submission is subject to Elixir’s assessment, acceptance and the scope and conditions of this offer. Elixir will confirm acceptance and the agreed PoC scope before commencing work.

Introduction

In today’s data-driven world, reports are more than documents, they are the foundation of decision-making, compliance, and communication.
For over two decades, Elixir Repertoire has powered mission-critical reporting systems across governments, banks, and healthcare institutions worldwide.
Now, as reporting expectations evolve toward real-time access, cloud integration, and interactive dashboards, organizations using legacy tools like SAP® Crystal Reports® are seeking a modern, future-ready platform.
This use case shows how to transition smoothly from Crystal Reports® to Elixir Repertoire.

The Challenges with Legacy Reporting Tools

While Crystal Reports® has served enterprises reliably, its aging technology presents growing challenges:
  • End-of-Life Risks: Crystal Reports® 2020 support ends in 2026 (SAP® Crystal Reports®, n.d.), raising security and compliance concerns.
  • Limited Cloud & API Integration: Designed for on-premises use, it struggles with modern architectures.
  • Real-Time Data Gaps: Integration with IoT or streaming data often requires complex workarounds.
  • Scalability Issues: Scaling to meet today’s distributed environments increases infrastructure costs.
  • Outdated User Experience: Modern users expect mobile, browser-based, interactive reporting.
These challenges highlight the need for a modern, flexible, and end-to-end reporting platform that unifies data, automates processes, and enhances business agility.

AI-Assisted Migration Process

Use your preferred AI tools to help generate and refine Elixir Repertoire report templates from existing Crystal Reports® files and supporting resources. Follow these five steps to streamline migration and validate the generated reports against the original output.reporting environment.
  1. RPT X

    Step 1: Prepare Migration
    Resources

Gather the original Crystal Reports® files, reference output, data source files and supporting resources in one folder.

  2. RML Generator DS Generator

    Step 2: Set Up Your
    Preferred AI Platform

Open your preferred AI assistant and load Elixir Technology's Skill Files, including the RML Generator and Data Source (DS) Generator skills required for the migration.

  3. AI RML

    Step 3: Generate and Refine
    with AI

Instruct the AI to migrate the report using the prepared resources and reference output. The AI analyses the inputs, generates the required Repertoire artifacts and iteratively refines the report to match the reference as closely as possible.

  4. Step 4: Review and Validate
    the Report

Inspect the rendered report and compare it against the original or expected output to identify any discrepancies in layout, data and formatting.

  5. Step 5: Refine in
    Repertoire Designer

Open the migrated report in Elixir Repertoire Designer for any necessary final adjustments and validation.
